Antonio DeLaCruz passed away peacefully April 30, 2025. He was 84.

Antonio was born November 13, 1940 in Kingsville, Texas to Margarita (Valencia) and Antonio DeLaCruz. He was a longtime resident of Taft, Texas. Antonio was a wonderful father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Preceding in death are his wife: Aurora DeLaCruz; son: Julian DeLaCruz; parents: Antono and Margarita DeLaCruz; sisters: Antonia Avila, Maria Lopez, Rosa DeLaCruz, Dolores DeLaCruz; brother: Aniceto DeLaCruz.

Survivors include sons: Tony DeLaCruz; Richard DeLaCruz (Brenda); Ray DeLaCruz, all from Taft, Texas; Roy DeLaCruz (Veronica) from Sinton, Texas; daughters: Aida DeLaCruz; JoAnn DeLaCruz; Sandra DeLaCruz and Becky Torres (Felipe), all from Taft, Texas; 25 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; and many extended family members.

Visitation will begin Thursday, May 8, 2025, 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 9, 2025, 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church in Taft. Burial will follow in Gregory Cemetery, Gregory.

Pallbearers will be Ray DeLaCruz, Anthony DeLaCruz, Rod Rodriguez, Homer Ceballos, Brandon DeLaCruz and Mando Gutierrez.
