Antonio "Tony" E. Delgado

Sinton – Antonio E. “Tony” Delgado passed away January 18, 2021. He was 71.

Tony was born on July 27, 1949 in Robstown, Texas to Antonio, Sr. and Margarita (Estraca) Delgado. He was a resident of Sinton since 1976 but grew up in Robstown. Tony was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a carpenter. Tony was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

Preceding in death are his parents: Antonio and Margarita Delgado; brother Alfredo “Lelo” Delgado.

Survivors include his wife: Orfalinda D. Delgado of Sinton; sons: Ediberto Delgado (Janet) and Tony Delgado III (JoAnna) all of Odem; a daughter: Belinda Cronkright (Philip) of Houston; 7 grandchildren: Victoria Valdez, Addie Delgado, Claudia Delgado, Calista Cronkright, Elaina Delgado, Christopher Delgado and James Delgado; great-grandchildren: Audrina Trevino and Jace Delgado; brothers: Oscar Delgado (Delia) and Oracio Delgado (Gloria) all of Belton; Juan Delgado (Gilma) and Robert Delgado all of Robstown; sisters: Margarita Herrera of Robstown, Leonor “Nena” Mendez (Enrique) of Annaville, Rebecca Gomez (Juan) and Terry Garza all of Robstown.

Visitation will begin Monday, January 25, 2021, 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A Holy Rosary will be recited the same evening at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, January 26, 2021, 11:30 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Sinton. A Graveside Service will be held the same day, 1:00 PM at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas.
