Aracely Mireya Vera passed away on September 13, 2025. She was 22.

Aracely was born on March 14, 2003 to Juan Vera, Jr. and Norma (Martinez) Vera in Corpus Christi, Texas.

From the moment Aracely entered this world, she brought joy, laughter, and light to everyone around her. She grew up in Taft and Corpus Christi, surrounded by her loving family and her best friends—affectionately known as The Fab 6—who remained a constant source of love and support throughout her life.

Aracely was a former student at Texas A&M and was most recently enrolled at Del Mar College where was accepted into the Nursing Program. Aracely was pursuing her dream of becoming a Nurse. She was loving, helpful, and full of life—always the brightest light in any room. Her infectious laughter, big heart and ability to connect with everyone made her unforgettable.

Aracely is preceded in death by her angel baby; her grandparents: Castulo and Magdalena Martinez; and her uncle: Castulo Martinez III.

She is survived by her devoted parents: Juan Vera, Jr. (Sandra Medina) from Corpus Christi, Texas; Norma Vera from Taft, Texas; her siblings; Eric Martinez, Isabella Vera, and Noah Vera (Dahvney Costilla, Aria Vera); her grandparents; Maria D. Lepper (Lary Lepper) and Juan Vera, Sr. (Mary Rendon Vera); and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends who adored her.

Aracely’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know and love her.

Visitation will begin Thursday, September 25, 2025, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A Funeral Service will be held the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be Friday, September 26, 2025, 11:30 AM at Palms Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Portland.
