Ariella Josette Santellana-Salazar Obituary

Ariella Josette Santellana-Salazar passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family. She was 9 years old.

Ariella was born on November 23, 2016 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Vivian Santellana and Adrian Salazar. From the moment she entered this world, she became the light of her family's life and a treasured blessing to everyone who knew and loved her.

Ariella was the very definition of a princess. She loved wearing beautiful dresses, having her hair styled, painting her fingernails and looking her very best. Her radiant smile, sweet spirit and gentle heart could brighten any room she entered. She had a way of making everyone around her feel loved, and her joyful personality left a lasting impression on all who were blessed to know her.

Although nine years could never be enough, Ariella filled those years with a lifetime of love, laughter and precious memories. While our hearts long for more time with her, we find comfort in knowing that God graciously allowed us to love and cherish His beautiful angel before calling her home. Ariella's memory will forever live on in the hearts of her parents, siblings, grandparents, extended family and countless friends.

Ariella is preceded in death by her grandmother, Graciela Santellana; her great-grandparents, Jose Eloy Sr. and Aurelia Salazar; and her beloved aunt, Chelsea Marie Santellana.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving mother, Vivian Santellana from Sinton; her father, Adrian Salazar (Kara) from Sinton; her brothers, Zachariah Santellana (Alexis) from Ingleside, Rolando Salazar from Sinton and Aiden Josiah Salazar from Victoria; her sisters, Emaly Amran (Najmaden) from Hawaii and Aileena Santellana, Aracely Salazar and Aryanna Salazar, all from Sinton; her grandfather, Juan R. Santellana from Odem; her grandparents, Amanda Aguirre, Criselda Reyna and Jose Eloy Salazar Jr., all from Sinton; along with many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and dear friends who will forever hold her close in their hearts.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home in Sinton. The Holy Rosary will be recited that evening at 6:00 PM at the funeral home.

The Funeral Mass celebrating Ariella's beautiful life will be celebrated Saturday, August 1, 2026, 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Sinton, with Fr. Glenn Mulan celebrating. Interment will follow.

Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we are forever grateful for the gift of Ariella's life. Her beautiful smile, kind heart and precious spirit will remain with us always. She will forever be our little princess, deeply loved, dearly missed and never forgotten.
