Armando Rodriguez, 72, of Sinton, Texas, passed away on August 26, 2026.

Armando was born on April 2, 1954, in Sinton, Texas, to Maria (Martinez) and Eduardo Rodriguez. He was a lifelong part of the Sinton community and will be lovingly remembered by his family and all those whose lives he touched.

Armando was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and cherished member of a close-knit family. Family was an important part of his life, and he shared a special bond with those he grew up with, including Antonia Diaz of Brownfield, Texas; Alfred Martinez of Sinton, Texas; Refugio Martinez of Sinton, Texas; Baldemar Martinez of San Antonio, Texas; and Alicia Rivas of Sinton, Texas, who were more like siblings to him.

Armando is preceded in death by his father, Eduardo Rodriguez, and his grandparents, Fransico and Francisca Martinez.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Maria Senaida Ramirez of McPharr, Texas; his brother, Juan Eloy Ramirez of San Juan, Texas; his sister, Genoveva Ramirez of Pharr, Texas; one niece; four nephews; and his extended family and loved ones who will carry his memory in their hearts.

Though his passing leaves a deep sense of loss, Armando's memory will live on through the family and loved ones who knew him, cared for him, and shared life's special moments with him. He will be remembered not only for the years he was given, but for the place he held in the hearts of those who loved him.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 8:30 AM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel in Sinton. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held that same morning at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Sinton. Burial will follow at Eternal Rest Cemetery in Sinton.
