Sinton – Auralia G. Salazar passed away peacefully in Sinton, Texas on October 20, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was born to Manuel P. and Guadalupe R. Garcia of Gregory, Texas. She was a lifelong resident of Sinton, Texas.

Auralia was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. To all who knew her, she was known as Lala.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel P. Garcia and Guadalupe R. Garcia, husband, Jose Eloy Salazar, Sr. and grandson, Joe Martin Garcia, Jr.

She is survived by her children, Jose Eloy Salazar, Jr. and daughter, Ida S. Garcia (Joe Martin, Sr.) both of Sinton, Texas, sister, Jesusa (Alex) Ramirez of Falfurrias and friend, Raymond Boni Garcia of Sinton, Texas, grandchildren, Veronica Garcia (Chris), Marivell (Nick) Riojas, Jose Eloy Salazar, III, Stephanie Salazar (PJ), Adrian Salazar (Vivian) and Amanda Salazar, great-grandchildren, Stephen Botello, Christopher Botello, Jhezirae Morlett, Sebastian Salazar, Jayla Salazar, Joelyn Salazar, Aiden Salazar, Nova Sias, Ariella Salazar, Zachariah Santellana, Emaly Maldonado, Aileena and Junner Ybarra.

Our loving mother will be missed, may she rest in heaven where she’ll be joining my father.
