Aurelia "Blanca" Bustillos Obituary

Taft – Aurelia “Blanca” Bustillos passed away peacefully on July 10, 2026, at the age of 57.

Born on December 7, 1968, to Elisa (Saenz) and Julian Garcia, Blanca was a woman whose love was felt in the little things she did every day. She had a gentle heart, a giving spirit, and a way of making everyone around her feel welcomed and cared for. Her family was the center of her world, and there was nothing that brought her more happiness than being surrounded by the people she loved.

Blanca found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved settling in beside her husband to watch Lifetime movies and game shows, turning even the quietest evenings into treasured moments together. She looked forward to shopping trips, whether she was searching for something special or simply enjoying the chance to browse the aisles. She found peace working in her flower beds, watching the birds gather at the feeders she lovingly kept full, and spending time with her faithful companions, Apollo and Zeus.

If there was one place Blanca showed her love best, it was in her kitchen. She poured her heart into every home-cooked meal she prepared, making sure no one ever left her table hungry. Her homemade tortillas became a family tradition, made with love and shared with those she cherished most. For Blanca, cooking wasn't just about food—it was her way of caring for the people she loved.

Of all the roles she held in life, being a grandmother was one she treasured beyond words. Her grandson, Ryan, was the light of her life. Every laugh, every visit, and every moment spent together filled her heart with a happiness that only a grandmother could know. The bond they shared was truly special and will remain a cherished memory for him forever.

Blanca's greatest legacy is the love she gave so freely. She loved deeply, cared unconditionally, and always put her family before herself. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering devotion created a home filled with comfort, laughter, and love. Although her family is heartbroken by her passing, they find comfort in knowing that the love she gave will continue to live on in each of them. She leaves behind memories that will be treasured for a lifetime and a love that time can never take away.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Julian and Elisa (Saenz) Garcia.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her devoted husband, Inocencio “Rabbit” Bustillos; her son, Bryan Bustillos (Irene) of San Antonio, Texas; her daughter, Kimberly Bustillos of Taft, Texas; her beloved grandson, Ryan Rene Bustillos of San Antonio, Texas; and her brothers, Roland Garcia of Flour Bluff, Texas, and Joe Garcia and Julian Garcia, both of Corpus Christi, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers will be Rosendo Marroquin, Jr., Miguel Marroquin, Sr., Rolando Bustillos, Miguel Marroquin, Jr., Roland Garcia, and Paul Mendoza.

Honorary pallbearer will be her beloved grandson, Ryan Rene Bustillos.
