Sinton – Aurora Villanueva Garcia passed away on October 24, 2024. She was 87.
Aurora was born August 3, 1937 in Sinton, Texas to Josefa (Villanueva) and Jesus Flores. She was a lifelong resident of Sinton but currently residing in Beeville. Aurora retired from Sinton ISD and Ewing Hospital. She was a Pastor’s wife who served alongside her husband at different churches throughout the years. She ministered in the Sinton jail and prison facility also with the Bill Glass ministries. Aurora loved the Lord with all her heart, she prayed faithfully daily. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
Preceding in death are her spouse: Domingo Garcia, Sr; granddaughter: Keisha Quintero; parents: Jesus and Josefa Flores.
Survivors include her sons: Rocky Garcia (Mary Ann) from Portland, Texas; Domingo Garcia, Jr. (Carolyn), Ronnie Garcia both from Corpus Christi, Texas; Donald Garcia (Carmela) from New Braunfels, Texas and Matthew Garcia from Beeville, Texas; daughter: Rose Marie Quintero (Tony) from Beeville; 13 grandchildren: Roger Garcia (Mary), Timothy James “TJ” Garcia (Maddy), Charlie Garcia (Vanessa Reyes), Joker Quintero (Vanessa), Josh Qintero (Amanda), Adrian Garcia, Andrew Garcia (Megan), Stefanie Garcia (Ashley), Brett Garcia, Brittany Garcia, Cassandra Garcia, Ricardo Garcia and Lysh Doria (Johnny); numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren: brother: Albert Villanueva (Lucy) from Sinton, Texas; sister: Jacinta Perez (Miguel DeLeon) from Sinton, Texas.
Visitation will begin Saturday, November 2, 2024, 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. The Funeral Service will be held the same morning with her grandson Josh Quintero speaking, 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Eternal Rest Cemetery, Sinton.
Pallbearers will be Roger Garcia, TJ Garcia, Andrew Garcia, Brett Garcia, Adrian Garcia and Ricardo Garcia.
