Austin Stearns, 25, passed away on March 20, 2026, leaving behind a deep void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Austin was born on September 11, 2000. From a young age, Austin had a bright spirit and a warm, easy smile that could light up any room. He was the kind of person who loved deeply, laughed often, and made those around him feel at home.

He found peace in the simple things—casting a line out while fishing, standing over a grill cooking for the people he cared about, and getting lost in music, which was more than just something he enjoyed—it was an outlet, a comfort, and a reflection of his soul. Austin faced life with strength and resilience, and even in difficult times, he carried himself with a quiet courage.

Above everything else, Austin’s greatest love was his daughter, Scarlett Rose. She was his whole world, his proudest accomplishment, and the reason behind his biggest smiles. The love he had for her was unwavering and undeniable.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe and Sue Garrett, who no doubt welcomed him with open arms.

Austin leaves behind so many who will forever carry his memory in their hearts: his beloved daughter, Scarlett Rose Stearns; his parents, Darrin Schweizer and Susan Garrett Schweizer; Bailey White, the mother of his child; his brother, Patrick John Gray and Dorian Kirkland Neeley; his sisters, Stephanie Nicole Neeley and Brittany Schweizer Cumbie; his nephews, Luke Logsdon, Jaxson Steele, Dre Steele, and Edison Gray; his nieces, Rylie Raines and Kimber Raines; his close friends, Mason and Kyle; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.

Though his time here was far too short, the love Austin gave and the memories he created will live on in all who knew him. He will be deeply missed, always remembered, and forever loved.
