Wallis – Barbara Nell Grisham passed away peacefully January 16, 2025. She was 81.
Barbara was born November 19, 1943 in Altus, Oklahoma to Ava LaVerne (Schmalstieg) and Douglas Montgomery. She was a resident of Wallis more than 40 years. Barbara was a homemaker and loving Mother to her son, Dennis. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.
Preceding in death are her parents: Douglas and Ava Montgomery; former spouse: Johnnie Grisham.
Survivors include her son: Dennis Grisham; brothers: Monty Montgomery (Kathie Dykeg), Mark Montgomery (Julia) and Mike Montgomery; her sister: Betty Sanders (Jack); and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation will begin Monday, January 27, 2025, 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Resthaven Funeral Home in Sinton. A Chapel Service will follow, 11:30 AM at the funeral home with Pastor John Hinton officiating. Burial will be in Palms Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Portland, 1:00 PM immediately following the chapel service.
