Benina “Bonnie” Blaylock passed away peacefully March 24, 2025. She was 77.

Benina was born April 17, 1947 in Robstown, Texas to Jacinta (Diaz) and Esteban Alonzo. She was a resident of Corpus Christi since 2018 and former resident of Robstown. Benina was a homemaker, a loving Mother and Grandmother. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Preceding in death are her parents: Esteban and Jacinta Alonzo; and siblings; Antonio Alonzo, Inez Campos, Estaban Alonzo, Mary Lou Gutierrez, Mary Ann Condon, Timoteo Alonzo, Andres Alonzo, and Irene Castillo. 

Survivors include her daughter: Helen Guevara (Fernando) from Corpus Christi, Texas; grandchildren: Alyssa Franco, Joel Bryan Morado, Caitlyn Morado and Evelyn Blaylock-Portillo; great-grandchildren: Landyn Morado, Layla Franco and Dylan Rodriguez.

Visitation will begin Monday, March 31, 2025. The family will receive guests from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
