Betsy Grant Palmero

Sinton – Betsy Grant Palmero passed away peacefully on November 11, 2019. She was 91.

Betsy was born in Henderson, Texas on October 22, 1928 to Benjamin and Glen (Barrett) Grant. She and her husband of 72 years, Lynton, moved to Sinton in 1977. Betsy was a retired school teacher. She touched many lived working for Sinton ISD, Corpus Christi ISD and Charlotte ISD. Betsy loved adventure, and she enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles.

Betsy was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and educator who will be missed by all who knew her.

Preceding in death are a daughter: Gay Palmero; grandson: Thomas Nutter; and her parents: Benjamin and Glen Grant.

Survivors include her husband: Lynton Palmero; daughters: Natalee Barnard of Portland, Texas; Trudy Nutter (Royce) of New Port Richey, FL; Betsy Ruth Kirk (Randall) of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren: Nicci Hinton (Brian) of Tampa, FL; Timothy Kirk of San Antonio, Texas; Jennifer Kirk of Houston, Texas; and great-grandchild: Elijah Hinton.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 16, 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church in Sinton.

Private burial will be held at a later date.
