Betty Ann Rodriguez

Taft – Betty Ann Rodriguez passed away peacefully on June 9, 2019. She was 62.

Betty was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico on June 21, 1956 to Ernesto and Victoria (Adames) Pantoja. She was a homemaker and made her home in Taft, Texas for the past 43 years. She was formerly of Sinton, Texas.  Betty was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her.

Preceding in death is her daughter: Geneva Rodriguez; and parents: Ernesto and Victoria Pantoja.

Survivors include her husband: Gregorio “Goyo” Rodriguez of Taft, Texas; son: Gregorio Rodriguez, Jr. (Janie) of Taft, Texas; daughters: Gracie Rodriguez of Taft, Texas and Stephanie Leanne Rodriguez (Jason York) of Taft, Texas; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers: Serapio Noriega of Sinton, Texas and Ernesto Pantoja (Victoria) of Ohio; sisters: Diana Esparza (Juan) of Sinton, Texas; Susan Ann Pantoja (Rene Gutierrez) of Houston Texas and JoAnn Noriega (Jose) of Sinton, Texas.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019, 4:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. The rosary will be held the same evening, 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, June 14, 2019, 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, Taft with Father John McKenzie as celebrant. Burial will follow in Lamas Memorial Park Cemetery, Taft.

Pallbearers will be Felipe Mendoza, Jr., Jonathan Esparza, Gregorio Rodriguez III, Joseph Espinoza, Jesus Jose Rodriguez, Andrew Leal, Christopher Espinoza, Reymundo Guerrero and Johnny Joe Pantoja.
