Beverly Grace Boatright Obituary

Beverly Grace Boatright, 71, passed away on September 10, 2026.

Beverly was born on March 7, 1955, in Brazoria, Texas. To those who loved her, she was so much more than the dates that marked her life. She was a gentle, loving soul with a heart that seemed to have room for everyone. She gave her love quietly and freely, and the people fortunate enough to know her will carry that love with them always.

Beverly found joy in the simple things. She loved to sew, creating beautiful things with her own hands. She was also an incredible baker, and her pies were unforgettable. For her family, those pies were never simply dessert—they were made with love, and they became part of the memories they will treasure for years to come. Her hands were always busy creating, baking, caring, and giving to the people she loved.

Above all, Beverly loved her family. She spent 45 years alongside the love of her life, David Boatright. Their life together was a testament to the love and companionship they shared. Although David preceded her in death, the love they built together remains woven into the family and memories they leave behind.

Beverly leaves behind her son, Henry Boatright of Texas; her daughter, Stephanie Boatright (Gilbert) of Aransas Pass, Texas; grandchildren, David Sterling Boatright, Thomas Boatright (Madison), Roy Palmer (Mialy), Trinity Palmer, and Allison Boatright; great-grandchildren, Arden Boatright and Rowan Boatright; her brother, Sam Chambless of Texas; and her sister, Robbie Clark of North Carolina.

Her family will remember Beverly for her sweet smile, her kindness, her loving heart, and the countless little ways she made the people around her feel loved. They will miss her presence, her laughter, her homemade pies, the things she created with her hands, and most of all, simply having her there.

There are some people whose absence can never truly be filled. Beverly was one of those people. She leaves behind a lifetime of love and memories that will continue through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and everyone whose life she touched.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Boatright.

Beverly may no longer be here to hold, hug, or sit besides, but the love she gave will remain. She will live on in the stories her family tells, the memories they share, the traditions she passed down, and in every reminder of the beautiful life she lived.

She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 3, 2026, 2:00 PM at Portland Revival Center.
