Taft- Blanca Estella Cisneros passed away May 25, 2021. She was 70.
Blanca was born in Taft, Texas on January 14, 1951 to Eunice (Hernandez) and Mateo Banda, Sr. She was a lifelong resident of Taft. Blanca was formerly employed by the Aransas Pass Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
Preceding in death are her husband: Abel Z. Cisneroz; parents: Mateo and Eunice Banda; sisters: Maria Bennett and Mirta Beins.
Survivors include her sons: Dale Lawver (Theresa) from Charleston, SC; Ronnie Lawver (Malinda) from Corpus Christi, Texas; Abel Cisneroz (Kristy) from Nebraska; Henry Cisneros (Debra) from Taft, Texas; daughters: Jodel Clifton (Skip) from Cle Elum, WA; Rita Cardenas (Robert) from Portland, Texas; Maria Jane Cisneroz from Taft, Texas; 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers: Arnulfo Banda (Janie), Ronaldo Banda (Cindy), Mateo Banda and Pablo Banda, all from Taft, Texas; Clemente Banda (Hilda) from Nebraska; sisters: Linda Alvidrez and Lurdes Banda, both from Nebraska; and numerous extended family members and friends.
Visitation will begin Thursday, May 27, 2021, 5:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 28, 2021, 1:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Church in Taft. Burial will follow in Lamas Memorial Park Cemetery, Taft.
