Brooks Edgar Culver, Jr.

Odem - Brooks Edgar Culver, Jr.  peacefully passed from this life in his home on March 12, 2018.  Brooks was born March 18, 1947 in San Francisco, California to Brooks and Pearl Culver.  Brooks was a loving husband and father and served the Corpus Christi Police Department from 1979 until his retirement in 2010. 

Brooks was an avid gun, knife and coin collector.  He enjoyed history, mowing his grass and dancing. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Brooks is preceded in death by his father: Brooks Edgar Culver; and his mother: Pearl Maxine Culver.

Survivors include his wife: Susan (Boutwell) Culver; 6 children: Billy Joe Culver of Austin, Brett Edgar Culver (Dawn) of Kerrville, Bryan Keith Culver of Austin, Beau Marshall Culver (Jennifer) of Elgin, Brittani Brooke Culver and Cameron Quert Culver;  5 grandchildren: Bret, Katheryn, Derek, Devin, and Nora; and brother: Jerry Culver.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2018, 6:00 PM at the Culver residence, 14211 County Road 1468 in Odem, TX.
