Carmen Galindo Rendon

Carmen Galindo Rendon passed away June 12, 2021 peacefully at her home with her family at her side. She was 70.

Carmen was born on February 4, 1951 to Ignacia (Carbajal) and Armando E. Galindo. She was a lifelong resident of Taft. Carmen was formerly employed by Taft ISD as a Paraprofessional. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be missed by everyone who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Armando Sr. and Ignacia Galindo; and brother: Armando Galindo, Jr.

Survivors include her husband: Ernesto Rendon from Taft, Texas; sons: Robert Rendon (Angel) from St. Paul, Texas and Timothy Rendon (Amanda) from West Virginia; daughters: Michelle Rendon (Antonio Martinez) and Aracely Rendon, all from Taft, Texas; 14 grandchildren; brothers: Manuel Galindo (Olga) from Alice, Texas and Arturo Galindo from Taft, Texas; sisters: Enriqueta Maldonado (Joe) , Maria Anita Moreno (Carlos), Josie Flores and Isabel Gonzalez, all from Taft, Texas and Beatrice Cisneros (Armando) from Corpus Christi, Texas; and numerous extended family members and friends.

Visitation will begin Tuesday, June 15, 2021, 10:00 AM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A Holy Rosary will be recited the same day, 1:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, June 16, 2021, 9:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Taft. A Graveside Service will follow, 11:00 AM at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi.
