Taft – Carol Francis Cook passed away August 22, 2024. She was 77.
Carol was born in Grand Tower, Illinois on June 18, 1947 to Flo Mae (Cripps) and Howard Wesley Cook. She resided in Taft, was formerly from Grand Tower, Illinois. Carol worked as a cook for the Taft Hospital. She will always be remembered as a loving and gentle woman. Carol will be missed by all who knew her.
Preceding in death are her parents: Howard W. and Flo Cook; sisters: Jeanette Cook, Dorothy Lou Cook and Hazel Cook.
Survivors include her husband: Jose H. Rodriguez from Taft, Texas; son: John Wayne Rodriguez (Karen) from Colorado; 5 grandchildren: Jacob Kievit, Brandon Kievit, Zoey Rodriguez, Jenna Rodriguez and Zak Rodrigues; great-grandchild: Rosalie Kievit; 1 great-grandchild on the way: Ellie Kievit; brothers: Howard W. Cook, Jr (Virginia), Raymond L. Cook (Mary), Floyd Cook and John Edward Cook; sisters: Linda Cook, Paula Cook and Floetta Cook.
