McAllen, Texas — Carroll Donnie Bradshaw, born December 31, 1939, in Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025, in Mission, Texas, at the age of 85. Carroll, known to family and friends as "Don", was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and a devoted friend who touched the lives of many throughout his journey.

A proud graduate of W. B. Ray High School, Carroll’s professional career began in his hometown of Corpus Christi, where he worked and managed shoe stores, including The Smart Shop and Jack Rizzo Shoes. In 1971, he made the move to Kingsville, Texas, where he opened and managed Rizzo’s Shoe Store. Later, he transitioned into the industrial sector, working as an electrician with Brown and Root and other prominent construction companies.

Carroll’s true calling was in customer service, and he spent 16 years as an inventory coordinator at H.E.B. in Kingsville, where his work ethic and dedication earned him the respect of his co- workers and community.

Outside of work, Carroll’s passions were many. He was a loving family man who cherished his time with his loved ones. He loved fishing, enjoyed BBQ, TexMex food, dilled pickles, a great salad, and was an avid fan of the Texas Rangers. A car enthusiast, he always drove a Chevrolet, embodying his love for classic American cars.

Carroll was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Bradshaw and Vivian Sidner Bradshaw; his wife, Lydia Ruiz Bradshaw; and his brother, Charlie Ellis Bradshaw. He is survived by his son, Roger James Bradshaw (Rena); grandsons Phillip Bradshaw (Luisa) and Jacob Bradshaw (Alyshia); and his cherished great-grand-daughters, Lily and Maya.

Carroll will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife, Lydia, at the Eternal Rest Cemetery in Sinton, Texas, where his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

He will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
