Chelsea Marie Santellana

Chelsea Marie Santellana passed away August 30, 2018. She was 29.

Chelsea was born December 1, 1988 to Amanda Celia Aguirre and Juan R. Santellana. She lived in Taft most of her life. Chelsea was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend.  She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Preceding in death are her grandmother: Graciela Santellana; and uncle: Hector Garza, Jr.

Survivors include a son: Landon Mikael Santellana of El Paso, Texas; daughters: Carley Marie Castillo and Mallorie Zariah Castillo, both of Taft, Texas; her mother: Amanda Aguirre of Taft, Texas; her father: Juan R. (Tina) Santellana of Odem, Texas; sisters: Vivian Santellana Salazar (Adrian) of Sinton, Texas; Skylair Acosta (Adolfo) of Odessa, Texas; Jonnica Santellana Naranjo (Eddie Jr.) of Taft, Texas; her biological father: Efrain Garza of Beeville, Texas; step-brothers: Efrain Garza, Jr. (Esmeralda) of Brownsville, Texas; Edward Garza of Corpus Christi, Texas; Julian Santellana of Sinton, Texas; step-sisters: Lyla Santellana of Sinton, Texas; Devon Adrianna Tilghman (James) of West Virginia; Veronica Garza of Corpus Christi, Texas; Sabrina Salazar of Japan; maternal grandparents: Enrique and Venina Gonzales of Taft, Texas; paternal grandparents: Juan G. and Delia Santellana of Odem, Texas; biological grandparents: Hector and Esther Garza of Sinton, Texas;  numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will begin Sunday, September 2, 2018, 2:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A holy rosary will be recited the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home, The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, September 3, 2018, 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Odem, Texas with Father Isaias Estepa as celebrant. Burial will follow.

Pallbearers will be Julian Santellana, JJ Santellana, JC Santellana, Jordy Lee Lopez, Jeremiah Acosta, Michael Ruiz, Anthony Gonzales and Efrain Garza, Jr.
