Christopher J. Davis Yawn, 41,  passed peacefully away on March 23, 2020 surrounded by his family. He was born on December 3, 1978 in Aransas Pass, Texas to Marilyn Garcia. Christopher was a tug boat captain. Christopher is preceded in death by his father, Larry Gene Davis and two brothers, Travis Gene Davis and Calvin Davis.

Survivors include a son: Landon Yawn of Corpus Christi, Texas; mother, Marilyn Murphy (Gary) of De Queen Arkansas; five brothers: Lance Davis (Chanel) of Geilenkirchen, Germany;  Larry “L.G.” Davis of Portland, Texas, Bobby Davis of Aransas Pass, Texas, Gary Murphy, Jr. (Bonnie) of Long Beach, Ms., and Brandon Yawn (Diannys) of Lake Worth, Fl; six sisters:  Valerie Davis, Lizzie Tyler (Archie), both of Rockport, Texas, Cindy Clark (James) of Zackery, La., Nicole Fortune of Miami, Fl., Becky Shedd (Dennis) of Aransas Pass, Texas and Ashley Yawn of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 26, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 27, 2020 at the Aransas Memorial Park Cemetery, Rockport, Texas.
