Austin – Clarence Ray Blaylock passed away February 4, 2021. He was 69.
Clarence was born on August 30, 1951 to Clarence King and Hazel Victoria (Jones) Blaylock. He was born in San Angelo, Texas but was a former resident of Amarillo, Texas and spent the last eight years in Austin, Texas. Clarence was a veteran of the US Army and fought during the Vietnam era. He later worked as a painter and was employed by Alexander Tank Company in Luling, Texas. Clarence was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his companion: Lakisha Berry of Austin, Texas; sons: Clarence Ray Blaylock II of Los Angeles, California, Cedric Marion Blaylock of Kingsman, Arizona and Erie Blaylock of Dallas, Texas; daughters: Janetta Y. Alexander of Houston, Texas and Jackie (Pinky) Blaylock of Dallas, Texas; 7 grandchildren; brothers: Elmer K. Blaylock of Fort Worth, Texas and Steve K. Blaylock of Corpus Christi, sisters: Sylvia A. Jenkins of San Angelo, Texas and Jannett B. Murphy of Corpus Christi, Texas; mothers of his children: Winnie Howard, Margie D. Blaylock and Tabatha Williams.
The Funeral Service will be held Friday, February 12, 2021, 11:00 AM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. Burial will follow in Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 2:00 PM.
