Clinton "Clint" Dale Darst, Sr.

Ingleside – Clinton “Clint” Dale Darst, Sr. passed away May 28, 2022. He was 72.

Clint was born on May 24, 1950 in Port Lavaca, Texas to Vada (Watkins) and Marton Joe Darst. Clint formerly lived in Aransas Pass before making Ingleside his home for the last 8 years. Clint was a Veteran of the United States Army. He recently worked in the oil field as a driller/pusher and was well known in Portland and Port Aransas as a Police Officer.

He was a beloved father, grandfather and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife: Kathleen Darst; his parents: Joe and Vada Darst; brothers: Marton, Willie, Joe and Lloyd; sisters: Gladys, Leona and Edna Mae.

Survivors include his 2 sons: Clinton “CJ” Darst, Jr. (Brandy) from Ingleside, Texas; Lloyd Darst (Terri) from Aransas Pass, Texas; 1 daughter: Alicia Darst Olivarez (Martin) from Ingleside, Texas; 6 grandchildren; Christian Darst, Alexys Darst, Heaven Darst, Isabella Olivarez, Bryan Hill and Dylan Darst; 1 great grandchild: Imie Darst Anderson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be: Robert Ramos, Roger Ramos, Leen Ramos, Clinton Darst, Jr. Lloyd Darst and Christian Darst.

Visitation will begin Thursday, June 2, 2022, 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Aransas Pass.  A Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 3, 2022, 10:00 AM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Aransas Pass with Mr. Arnold Laird speaking. Interment will follow in Prairie View Cemetery, Aransas Pass.
