Daisyann Anderson

Rockport– Daisyann Anderson peacefully passed away at home on May 8, 2021. She was 83.

Daisyann was born on July 4, 1937 to Delbert and Dilcy (Royer) Hendricks in Alden, Kansas. She was a former resident of Sterling, Kansas, but recently resided in Rockport for almost 8 years. She was an owner/sales manager of the radio stations KOEZ and KJRG in Newton, Kansas. Daisyann enjoyed feeding and watching birds. She could spend hours in her beautiful gardens tending to her breath-taking flowers and plants. Daisyann loved her family. She especially doted on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her beloved dog, Andy, who ran a close second. Daisyann was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend who will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

Preceding in death are her husband: Gordon Anderson; parents: Delbert and Dilcy Hendricks; brothers: Floyd Hendricks and Randy Hendricks.

Survivors include her son: Scott Anderson (Tammie) from Hays, Kansas; daughters: Crystal Anderson from Sterling, Kansas and Debra Anderson (Phil Tyner) from Rockport, Texas; 7 grandchildren: Ryan Anderson, Jerrod Anderson, Angie Anderson, Allyssa Miller, Heather Morales, Stephanie Peirce, and Josh Fleeman; 15 great-grandchildren; and brother: Boyd Hendricks from Alden, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Harbor Hospice of Gulf Coast (400 Enterprise Blvd, bldg C in Rockport, Texas 78382) in Daisyann Anderson’s memory.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date with a private burial to follow.
