Daniel E. Davila Sr., better known as Danny, of Sinton, Texas, went home to Heaven on April 15, 2025 surrounded by his family. A devoted servant of the Lord and a loving husband, father, and grandfather, Danny lived a life rich with faith, generosity, and an unwavering dedication to those he cherished, leaving a legacy that will endure forever.
Born on May 7, 1960 in Sinton, Texas, Danny married his high school sweetheart, Isabel, and together they built a remarkable life filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams. Danny put his faith and trust in Jesus Christ as a teenager thanks to the bus ministry of a local church. He and Isabel became faithful church members, teaching their children the importance of God’s presence in their lives. He served as a deacon at Heritage Baptist Church in Corpus Christi, Texas where his devotion was a testament to his love for the Lord.
His work ethic was extraordinary, dedicating many years to Huffman Radiator Services, where his skills and integrity were exemplary. In 2018 he co-founded South Texas Radiator with three trusted partners, creating a business that reflected his vision and drive. A natural teacher, he found joy in helping others—whether sharing knowledge with colleagues, guiding friends, or mentoring those eager to learn. He also served on the Sinton City council, reflecting his commitment to making a difference in his community.
Danny treasured life’s simple pleasures: hunting, barbecuing, and, above all, spending time with his beloved grandchildren. To him, being a Grandpa was his greatest accomplishment—a role he embraced with boundless love, pride, and countless cherished moments, weaving memories that will live on in their hearts.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 44 years, Isabel, his children Danny Davila (Emily), David Davila (Grace), Daniella Ruff (James), Desirae Davila and his “adopted” daughter Kayla Ottwell. His beloved grandchildren, Deborah, Adam, Dakota, Deacon, Declan, Kinsley, Wyatt, Arianna, Aaron and Alyssah. He is preceded in death by his father Martin Davila Sr., mother Juanita Davila, brother Martin Davila Jr. and his in-laws Emilio and Ramona Gonzalez . His legacy of faith, love, and family endures in his church, community, and the countless lives he touched.
