Danny Lee Jenkins

Marion – Danny Lee Jenkins passed away on June 20, 2020. He was 72.

Danny was born to Gyden Quincey and Olivia (Verna) Jenkins on November 26, 1947 in Laredo, Texas. He was a resident of Marion, Texas more than 40 years.

Danny was retired from the sheet metal industry. He was well known in the communities of Marion and Rockport, where he spent many weekends on the coast. Danny was a distinguished musician for many years. He obtained his Captain's license and was an official guide where he crossed paths with many newfound friends.

Danny was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

Preceding in death are his parents: Gyden Quincey and Olivia Verna (Clemens) Jenkins; and his brother: Bobby Jenkins.

Survivors include his wife: Susie Jenkins of Marion, Texas; daughter: Tara Mihalski (Steve) of La Vernia, Texas; son: Danny Jenkins II of Marion, Texas; sisters: Sissie Sewell (Ray) of San Antonio, Texas; sister-in-law; Jeanne Jenkins of San Antonio, Texas; 5 grandchildren: Waylon Jenkins; Isaac Baggot; Matthew Doss; Cody Wagenfehr and Cade Mihalski.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
