David Westly Barrios

David Westly Barrios, 37 of Aransas Pass, Texas passed away February 1, 2021.

Mr. Barrios was born on January 19,1984 in Gregory, TX, to Robert Barrios Jr. and Sylvia Hernandez Gill.

He loved spending time with his wife and kids. Sitting at the bay listening to the sound of the waves as they rolled in. He enjoyed taking his nephews fishing and crabbing. While he wasn’t with family, he liked to have a few beers and shoot pool with his friends. David loved to sing to his wife and children, karaoke was one of his favorite things to do anytime anywhere. He could never pass up a mirror without checking himself out making sure he “looked good”. He had a passion for construction and remodeling. He was a truly a bless man, with a family he just started he was looking forward to spending the rest of their lives to together. We will always keep his memory alive. God has him in his arms now. We all love him very much and he will be deeply missed.

David Westly Barrios is survived by his wife, Nicole Barrios; daughter, Jasmine Lucero and son, Azazel Barrios.

He was survived in death by his mother Sylvia Gill and stepfather Edward Gill; brother’s, Juan Jimenez, Matthew Jimenez & Epifanio Jimenez. His sister's Teresa Esquivel, Yvonne Esquivel & Elvira Simonis and their spouses. He was also blessed with numerous and loving niece's, nephew's, aunt's, uncles and cousins.

David will be missed by all who were blessed enough to know him and be part of his life.

A memorial service will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, TX on February 6, 2021. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Aransas Pass at Old San Patricio Cemetery to be announced at a later date.
