Aransas Pass – David Eric Mireles passed away March 4, 2025. He was 56.
David was born July 7, 1968 in Aransas Pass, Texas to Maria Del Carmen (Mancias) and Luis Olivarez Mireles. He was a loving brother, uncle and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Luis and Carmen Mireles; siblings: Jose Luis Mireles, Ramon Alejandro “Alex” Mireles, Miguel Angel “Michael” Mireles and Irma Cantu.
Survivors include his brother: Federico Mireles (Delia) from Corpus Christi, Texas; sisters: Esperanza Hernandez from Rockport, Texas, Norma Mireles from Portland, Texas, Cristina Mireles Tomlin (Richard) from Leavenworth, Kansas and Brenda Montez (Armando) from Ingleside,Texas; nieces and nephews: Federico "Papi" Mireles, Jr., Edward Hernandez (Diana), Mario Hernandez, Joey Hernandez (Kim), Elsie Ortiez, April Stock (Matt), Erica Esquivel, Terry Sullins (Darlene), Kelsey Craig (Randy), Amber Molina (Chris), Sheldon Montez (Hannah), Ben Martinez, Jr., John Martinez, Jose Luis Mireles, Jr., Sabrina Mireles, Michael "Mikey" Mireles, Eric Mireles, Lawrence Mireles (Sara), Devin Mireles, Miranda Mireles (Daniel), Dallas Mireles (Lisa), Timothy Castillo (Gabby), Ryan Castillo, Melissa Flores (David), James Hernandez, Christopher Hernandez, Richard Hernandez and Stephanie Hernandez; numerous great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin Thursday, March 6, 2025, 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held the same evening, 6:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, March 7, 2025, 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Star of the Sea Church in Aransas Pass. Burial will be private.
