David Lee Mitchell

Ingleside on the Bay - David Lee Mitchell passed away at his residence on July 27, 2018. He was 68.
David was born November 7, 1949 in Harlingen, Texas to Hazel Mae (Tutt) and Lynn Evans Mitchell. He was a resident of Ingleside on the Bay 8 years and former resident of Lockhart, Texas. David was a veteran of the US Navy. He retired as a Mechanic employed by Hertz Rent-A-Car at the Austin airport. David and the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Bonnie, retired to the area to enjoy life on the water. They enjoyed fishing, boating and the outdoors.
Preceding in death is his wife: Bonnie Belle Bazar; and his parents: Lynn and Hazel Mitchell.
Survivors include a sister: Catherine Rochell of Harlingen, Texas; brothers: Lynn Evans Mitchell, Jr. (Carol) of Sulphur, LA and Robert Louis Mitchell of Donna, Texas; 3 nephews: Samuel Welch and Jeffrey Welch, both of Harlingen, Texas; Jon Mitchell of Houston, Texas; and a niece: Anne Liscum of Sulphur, LA.
Private services will be held at a later date.
