Debra was born on June 20, 1958 in Monroe, Louisiana to Patsy (Reppond) and John Jameson. She had a beautiful soul and a generous spirit, always finding joy in serving others. Debra deeply loved her family and especially cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Patsy Jameson; and her sisters, Diane Simms and Carol Conville.

Debra is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Michael Ward from Portland, Texas; her son, Jared Ward from Portland, Texas; her daughters, Amie Ward from West Monroe, Louisiana, and Kindall Ward from Franklin, Tennessee; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; her brother, Jack Jameson from West Monroe, Louisiana; and her sister, Lisa Desaider.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, 9:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Portland, Texas. The Funeral Service will be held the same day, 12:00 noon at the chapel with Bishop Richard Anderson presiding. Interment will follow, 2:00 PM at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi.
