Ingleside – Diane Marie Palmer passed away on January 4, 2024. She was 62. Diane was born on January 16, 1961 to Wanda Jewell (Cooper) and Jackie Duane Palmer. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Diane’s life was marked by profound love, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Jack and Wanda Palmer; sister: Cheryl Palmer in eternal peace.
Diane is survived by her sons: Matt Mitchell (Leslie) from Corpus Christi, Texas, Nick Mitchell (Stepanie) from Portland, Texas; her adored grandchildren: Noah, Breanne, Gavin, and Isla Mitchell; brother: Duane Palmer from Aransas Pass, Texas.
Diane had a passion for life that extended to her love for her loyal companion, Lucy, her fondness for the tranquility of the water, the joy of fishing, and the creative expression found in painting.
In celebrating Diane’s life, let us remember her kind spirit, her zest for life, and the countless ways she brightened the lives of those around her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
Funeral service will be held Monday, January 15, 2024, 11:00 AM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Aransas Pass, Texas. Burial will follow at Prairie View Cemetery, Aransas Pass, Texas.
A gathering featuring a light meal will follow burial at the home of Mike and Cindy Mitchell, 450 Rabbit Run Rd. in Aransas Pass. The family invites all guest to gather to share memories of our beloved Diane.
