Sinton - Domingo Ramon Lucio, Sr. passed away April 13, 2025 at his residence with his loving family at his side. He was 86.

Domingo was born June 5, 1938 in Pleasanton, Texas to Gabriella (Chapa) and Carlos Lucio. He was the youngest surviving child. He was a resident of Sinton since 1995, and former resident of Corpus Christi. Domingo was married to his wife, Maria, almost 65 years. Together, they made a home and life for their children and grandchildren. Domingo retired as a Welder, having worked at local refineries and in Sinton. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Sinton and a Crusillista. Domingo was a loving husband, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be missed by all who knew him.

Preceding in death are his parents: Gabriella Chapa Aguirre and Brigido Aguirre; his father: Carlos Lucio; brother: Santiago Lucio (Maria); sisters: Victoria Hernandez (Michael) and Lucia Rodriguez; step-sister: Antonia Herrera (Pilar).

Survivors include his beloved wife: Maria M. Lucio; children: Lucia Mendez (Gabriel); Domingo R. Lucio, Jr. (Mary Lou); Patricia Jauregui (Sonny); Rosalinda Estrada (Eloy); Dolores Lucio-Gomez; Elsa Garza (Chris); 17 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and many loving relatives to include brothers-in-law, sisters in law, nephews and nieces.

Visitation will begin Tuesday, April 22, 2025, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, April 23, 2025, 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church in Sinton with Father Yul Ibay as celebrant. Burial will follow in Eternal Rest Cemetery, Sinton.
