Rockport – Don Garland Pyle passed away peacefully May 15, 2025. He was 75.

Don was born September 3, 1949 in Houston, Texas to Thelma (Woods) and Otis Loyd Pyle. He was a resident of Rockport.

Don was married to his beloved wife Ana almost 16 years. They met in the Philippines after Don's retirement. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force where he retired as a Senior Master Sergeant. In his 28 year career, Don's military career took him to many states and countries to include Panama, French Guiana, Saudi Arabia, Dallas/Ft. Worth, to name a few. Don was a committed husband; he was loving father; Don was a dedicated patriot; and he was loyal to family and friends. Don will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Preceding in death are his parents: Otis Loyd and Thelma Pyle; and a brother: Billy Loyd Pyle.

Survivors include his wife Ana Pyle and daughter Celine Pyle, both from Rockport, Texas; his children: Kelly Pantin from Houston, Texas; Doraina Pyle and Gene Pyle, both from Mesquite, Texas; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister: Glynis Pyle from Houston, Texas; sister-in-law: Dorinda Pyle; niece: Melissa Bailey LeSpade; great-niece: Tori Ramirez and her children Layla and Remi; great-nephew: Blane Martinez and his son Cohen; stepson: Chris Presson and many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will begin Tuesday, June 3, 9:30 AM at the Resthaven Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas. Family will speak at 11:00 AM, followed by a Chapel Service at 11: 30 AM. A Graveside Service will be follow the same afternoon, 2:00 PM at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, Corpus Christi.

Family is accepting monetary donations to aid with funeral expenses.
