Donald Michael Chapman Obituary

Donald Michael Chapman passed away peacefully on April 29, 2026, at the age of 94.

Born on March 29, 1932, in Wisconsin to Florence (Schedcik) and Lyman Chapman, Donald lived a long life marked by quiet strength, devotion, and love. He proudly served his country as a petty officer in the United States Navy, carrying that sense of duty with him throughout his life.

Donald found joy in the simple things—casting a fishing line, spending time outdoors, and taking in the beauty of nature. But nothing meant more to him than being with his beloved wife. Their time together was the center of his world, and his love for her was evident to all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Elva Chapman; his children, Linda Collins, Rick Chapman, Gary Chapman, and Donnie Chapman; his parents, Lyman and Florence Chapman; and his sister, Kathryn Bland.

He leaves behind his sisters, Marian MacLeod, Betty Folkner, and Evelyn Morgan; his grandchildren, David Collins and Shawn Reiser; and four great-grandchildren, who carry forward his memory.

Donald will be remembered for his steady presence, his love of the outdoors, and most of all, his deep devotion to his family.

All services will be private.
