Eliseo "Eli/Papis" Molina Saldivar

Taft – Eliseo “Eli/Papis” Molina Saldivar passed away November 12, 2022. He was 29.

Eli was born September 18, 1993 to Eliseo, Sr. and Linda (Molina) Saldivar. He was a lifelong resident of Taft, Texas. Eli worked as an electrician. He was a beloved father, son, boyfriend, brother and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Ramon and Anita Saldivar; uncles: Jorge Saldivar and Roland Ybarra; aunt: Gloria Saldivar; cousin: Cynthia Gonzales.

Survivors include his parents: Eliseo and Linda Saldivar from Taft, Texas; girlfriend: Jolynn Martinez from Taft, Texas; sons: Jessirey Gurk and Johnmichael David Gurk both from Taft, Texas; daughter: Abcdey Gurk from Taft, Texas; brother: Eric Saldivar (Heather) from Taft, Texas; sisters: Georgia Molina from Gregory, Texas and Christyanna Saldivar from Taft, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin Thursday, November 17, 2022, 4:00 PM-9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A Holy Rosary will be held the same evening at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, November 18, 2022, 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Sinton. Burial to follow in Lamas Memorial Park Cemetery, Taft.

Pallbearers will be: Raymond Villalobos, Nathaniel Villalobos, Porky Martinez, Orlando Alvarado, Jake Valdez, Gabino Sanchez, Jr., Jessirey Gurk and Johnmichael Gurk.
