Eluvina R. Delgadillo

Ingleside – Eluvina R. Delgadillo passed away on August 18, 2023. She was 71.

Eluvina was born in Ingleside on September 20, 1951 to Eluvina (Garza) and Jose Rodriguez. She retired as a Medical Referral Clerk for Medical Arts Clinic; she also had many occupations prior.  Eluvina resided in Ingleside for 46 years previously residing in Aransas Pass for 25 years. She was a loving wife, mother, step-mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Jose and Eluvina Rodriguez; brother: Jesus Rodriguez.

Survivors include her loving husband: Amador “Barney” Delgadillo from Ingleside; son: Roel J. Esquivel from Ingleside; daughters: Veronica (Brett) Kinsey from Austin, Texas, Cindy (Eddie) Jimenez and Celeste (Darrell) Atkins both from Ingleside, Texas, 5 grandchildren: Eric (Sarah) Jimenez, Darren Atkins, Dylan Atkins, Bridget Kinsey and Gillian Kinsey; 1 great-grandchild: Emelia Jimenez; brothers: Ernesto Rodriguez from Portland, Jose Rodriguez, Juan Rodriguez and Enrique (Lydia) Rodriguez all from Ingleside; sisters: Esther Salinas and Estella Barron both from Ingleside and Elva Ramirez (Andy) from Aransas Pass; step-children: Ricky (Amanda) Delgadillo and Rachel (Ernie) Moreno both from Ingleside; step-grandchildren: Jerry Moreno, Joshua Moreno, Jay Max Hawkins, Jon Michael Delgadillo and Julian Delgadillo; 2 step-grandchildren: Beau Hawkins and Jennifer Hawkins.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Aransas Pass, Texas. A Holy Rosary will be recited the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, August 24, 2023, 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, Ingleside, Texas.  Burial will follow in San Ignacio Cemetery, Ingleside.

Pallbearers will be: Darren Atkins, Dylan Atkins, Ruben Ramirez, Daniel Ramirez, Ruben Barron and Joshua Moreno.  Honorary Pallbearers will be: Eric Jimenez and Roel Esquivel.
