Elva Naranjo

Taft – Elva Naranjo passed away on October 11, 2024. She was 63.

Elva was born October 1, 1961 in Taft, Texas to Tomasa (Arevalo) and Miguel Zaragosa Naranjo. She was a lifelong resident of Taft. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

Preceding in death are her daughters: Gabriella Garcia and Elva Linda Garcia; parents: Miguel and Tomasa Naranjo; siblings: Elisa Saldana, Herminia Tijerina and Fidel Naranjo.

Survivors include her son: Gabriel Garcia (Kira) from El Paso, Texas; daughter: Isabel Hernandez (Noe Salinas) from Alice, Texas; 5 grandchildren: Gabriella Garcia (Omar Wilson), Alana Trevino, Kiralynna Garcia, Ruben Trevino, III and Aleqzander Erebia and 1 great-child: Gianna Avila; brothers: Miguel Zaragosa Jr. (Norma Aleman), Adolfo Naranjo, Arturo Naranjo (Norma) and Felix Naranjo all from Taft, Texas; Tomas Naranjo from Bay City, Texas; sisters: Aurora Martinez, Lucia Carrera, Adelfa Moreno and Elvira Esquivel (Mike Golla) all from Taft, Texas and Delia Jaime (Luis) from Corpus Christi, Texas.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Friday, October 25, 2024, 11:00 AM- 2:00PM. Burial will be private.
