Elvira "Alvie" Solis

Fulton – Elvira “Alvie” Solis passed away on November 27, 2024. She was 65.

Alvie was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on September 7, 1959 to Guadalupe (Villarreal) and Reulo Trevino. Alvie was a retired Property Manager. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Alvie is preceded in death by her parents: Guadalupe and Reulo Trevino; siblings: Vicky Riffle, Jose Angel Amaro and Roberto Trevino.

Survivors include her loving husband: George Solis, Sr. from Rockport, Texas; son: George Solis, Jr. (Julie McMakin-Solis) from Rockport, Texas; daughter: Isabel Solis from Rockport, Texas; 5 grandchildren; George J. Solis III, Michael K. Solis, Abby J. Solis, Leighton S. Solis and Faith Nicole Lynn Solis; brother: Jose Luis Amaro from Progresso, Texas and Raul Trevino, Jr. (Angie) from Taft, Texas; and sisters: Alicia Dominguez from Rockport, Texas, Maria Duran from Weslaco, Josefina Rodriquez from Harlingen, Texas and Luisa Andrade from Phoenix, Arizona.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Aransas Pass, Texas. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, December 7, 2024, 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Rockport. Burial will follow in Rockport Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be George “Bull” Solis, Jr., George Solis, III, Michael Kirk Solis, Fracio Molina, Joseph Saucedo, Ernest Trevino, Jr. and Oscar Trevino.
