Emma Escamilla Green passed away January 22, 2026. She was 74.

Emma was born April 3, 1951 in Sinton, Texas to Carolina (Deanda) and Arturo Escamilla.

Preceding in death are her husband: Reverand Urel O. Green; father: Arturo Adams Escamilla; mother: Carolina Deanda Escamilla; brother: Artuto D. Escamilla, Jr. and nephew: Joe E. Obregon.

Emma is survived by sister: Eva Escamilla of Sinton, Texas; nephews: Leo Obregon and Gilbert  Guerra (Irma) of Sinton, Texas and Michael Maldonado of San Antonio, Texas; great nephew: Joseph Losoya (Christy) of San Antonio, Texas; great nieces: April Aguirre (George) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Suzanne Castro (Fred), Jennifer Cantu (Roland) and Nikki Guerra of Sinton, Texas; great-great nephews: Xavier Gonzales (Yazmin) and Brenton Aguirre of Corpus Christi, Texas, Andrew Cantu and Adrian Cantu of Sinton, Texas, and Adrian Losoya of San Antonio, Texas; great-great nieces: Zayra Torres of California, Maycee Castro, Jayce Castro, Jayden Castro and Layla Castro of Sinton, Texas, Alexandra Losoya and Autumn Losoya of San Antonio, Texas; and great-great-great nephew: Adrian Gonzales. 

A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, February 24, 2026, 2:00 PM at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas.
