Rockport – Emma Longoria Solis passed away on May 30, 2024. She was 84. Emma was born on July 28, 1939 to Isabel (Cabello) and Luis D. Longoria in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was funny and loved everyone. Emma had a big, loving heart and welcomed everyone as is – flaws and all. She was a mother to all who entered her life. Emma was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

Emma is preceded in death by her former spouse: Miguel Solis; children: Michael A. Solis, Hilda Solis, Martin A. Solis, Herlinda Torres; grandsons: Michael A. Solis, Jr. and Marvin A. Solis; parents: Luis D. and Isabel Longoria; siblings: Delia Gonzales and Luis Longoria, Jr.

Survivors include her sons: Marcus A. Solis, Manuel A. Solis, Mario A. Solis (Darby), and Mark A. Solis all from Rockport, Texas; daughters: Helene Mills (Jeremy) and Hazel I. Michael (Cody) both from Rockport, Texas; brother: Armando Longoria from Arlington, Texas; sisters: Irma Salinas from Corpus Christi, Texas, Lucy Miller from Grand Prairie, Texas, Yolanda Valenzuela and Pam Garcia (Amado) all from Corpus Christi, Texas, and Mary Jane Garza (Frank) from Arlington, Texas; sister-in-law: Nelly Longoria Corpus Christi, Texas; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren. 

Visitation will begin Friday, June 7, 2024, 9:00 AM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Aransas Pass. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be the same morning, 11:00 AM at the funeral home, The Funeral Service will follow, 11:30 AM. Interment will follow in Rockport Cemetery, Rockport.
