Ester Longoria Espinosa Obituary

Ester Longoria Espinosa, 90, of Sinton, Texas, entered into eternal rest on August 24, 2026, surrounded by the love and memories of those who cherished her. She was born on June 20, 1936, in Karnes City, Texas, to Tomasa (Garza) and Antonio Longoria.

Ester was a remarkable woman whose strength, faith, humor, and loving spirit touched so many lives. She was strong-willed and never afraid to speak her mind, but beneath that strength was a humble heart and a warmth that made people feel loved and welcomed. She had a wonderful sense of humor and could bring laughter to those around her. Above all, Ester was a woman of deep faith who placed her trust in God throughout her life.

Ester was a true fighter. She bravely battled breast cancer twice and later faced thyroid cancer in her 70s. Through every challenge, she continued to show the strength and determination that defined her. Her courage was an inspiration to her family and everyone who knew her.

Ester’s greatest legacy, however, was the love she gave to her family. She cherished her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and created countless memories that will be carried in their hearts forever. Her presence brought a special kind of comfort and love to her family, and her absence will be deeply felt.

Ester was preceded in death by her beloved spouse, Jose Hernandez Espinosa; her parents, Antonio and Tomasa Longoria; and many of her beloved siblings.

Left to cherish Ester’s beautiful memory are her son, Luis Antonio Espinosa of Sinton, Texas; her daughter, Susana Salcido of Corpus Christi, Texas; her grandchildren, Iris Serrano, Marissa Gutierrez, and Aurora Salcido; her great-grandchildren, Danika, Persayis, Michael, Gabriel, Izaius, Isabella, Mya, and Abigail; and her sister, Maria Tijerina of Driscoll, Texas, along with numerous extended family members and dear friends who loved her dearly.

Ester will be remembered not only for her strength and faith, but for the laughter she shared, the stories she told, the love she gave so freely, and the unforgettable place she held in the hearts of those who knew her. She was deeply loved, and the impact she made on her family will never fade.

Though her family will miss her more than words can express, they can find comfort knowing that her love will live on through the generations she leaves behind. Every memory, every laugh, every lesson, and every moment shared with Ester will remain a precious part of the lives of those who were blessed to know her.

Her life was a gift, her love was a blessing, and her memory will forever be treasured.
