Rockport – Fae Gaskin passed away on December 2, 2024. She was 86.

Fae was born in San Angelo, Texas on June 21, 1938 to Freda Melba (White) and Ethan Fricks. Fae took such pride in the fact that they reached five generations of women. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Fae is preceded in death by her parents: Ethan and Freda Fricks.

Survivors include her son: Dwayne Dale Gaskin from Rockport, Texas; daughter: Melba Jean Gaskin (Dale Turner) from Rockport, Texas; granchildren: Krystal Guillot, “Bubba” Charles Turner, Patty Gleason, Alec Gaskin and Tanner Gaskin; great grandchildren: Jason Guillot, Jr., Brianna Flores, Dylan Turner, Justin Turner, Travis Turner, Gabriella Turner, Ethan Gleason, Elijah Gleason, Gracie Gleason, Nami Nish and Jace Nish; great-great grandchildren: Mayson Wyatt Guillot, Paisleigh Rae Flores and Emily Gaskin; brothers: Fred Fricks from Houston, Texas and Leo Fricks from Woodsboro, Texas; and sister: Janet Christensen from Bayside, Texas.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2024, 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Aransas Pass, Texas. A Funeral Service will be the same afternoon, 2:00 PM at the funeral home.  Burial will be private.
