Forest Wade Marvin, 88, passed away on December 3, 2025. He was born on October 20, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan to Florence (Black) and Wade Marvin.

Forest lived a full and meaningful life. He proudly served as an American Airlines pilot in his earlier years before later working as a ticket agent. He made his home in Sinton for the past five years after living many years in San Diego, California.

Preceding in death are his parents: Florence and Wade Marvin.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife: Olga L. Marvin from Sinton, Texas; his son: Joe P. Fernandez (Eva) from Ft. Worth, Texas; and his daughter: Jessica Fernandez Ramirez (Jackie) from Ft. Worth, Texas. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren who brought great joy to his life: Angel “AJ” Almazan, Zayden Segovia, Andrew Fernandez and Nathan Fernandez.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home in Sinton. The Funeral Service will follow on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
