Corpus Christi- Freida Sue Freeman passed away surrounded by her family on July 26, 2020. She was 78. She was born on April 2, 1942 in Birmingham, Alabama to Robert Odis and Hazel Odom McDonald. Freida was a longtime nurse.

Freida is preceded in death by her husband: Colonel Freeman; parents: Robert and Hazel (McDonald) Odis; daughter; Pamela Eugena Freeman Clark; brothers: Gene and Robert Odis McDonald; sister-in-law: Sherry McDonald.

She is survived by her sons, Darrell Freeman (Carol); John Robert Freeman; Colonel Freeman III all of Corpus Christi, Texas; brothers: William McDonald (Lil) of Corpus Christi, Texas and John Dale McDonald of Alabama; sister: Cookie McDonald of Alabama. Eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

All services will be held at a later date.
