Genevie “Bitty” Grubb passed away peacefully on January 4, 2026, in Rockport, Texas.
Genevie was born in San Antonio on August 15, 1953 to Genevie (Horner) and Ivy Compton. She will be remembered by those who knew her and she will be missed very much.
Genevie was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, James Grubb, who passed away in October 2024.
She is survived by her three daughters: Teri Grubb (Brice Scharmann), Jymie Perna (Todd), and Loni Just (Brian); a beloved member of the family who was like a son: Christian Bazzoli (Stephanie Clauzade); sister: Lacey Henrichs (+Gary); and brother: Jimmie Queeney. She is also survived by several grandchildren and a great-grandchild expected any day.
