Corpus Christi – Gloria Jean Sanchez passed away peacefully on June 5, 2024 with her loving family by her side. Gloria was 43.

Gloria was born January 18, 1981 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Josefina (Gonzales) and Ruben Sanchez. She was currently residing in Corpus Christi and lived in Taft growing up. Gloria was formerly employed by Radiology Associates. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

Preceding in death are her father: Ruben Sanchez; maternal grandparents: Trinidad and Maria Felipa Gonzales; paternal grandparents: Angel and Julia R. Sanchez.

Survivors include her children: JoLynn Riojas, Elijah Jackson and Erin McGraw, all from Corpus Christi, Texas; her mother: Josie Rice from Taft, Texas; brothers: Nieves Gonzales (Amanda Chavez) from Taft, Texas and Antonio Jaime (Rubi) from Corpus Christi, Texas; sisters: Nora Villegas from Corpus Christi, Texas; Patricia Marcelino from Taft, Texas; Julie Sanchez and Monica Marie Jaime, both from Corpus Christi, Texas; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will begin Tuesday, June 18, 2024, 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, June 19, 2024, 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church in Taft, Texas with Fr. John McKenzie as celebrant. Interment will follow in Lamas Memorial Park Cemetery, Taft.
