Guadalupe M. Dominguez

Taft – Guadalupe M. Dominguez passed away peacefully on January 4, 2020 with his loving family at his side. He was 71.

Lupe was born on November 24, 1948 to Josefina Salcido and Guadalupe Dominguez, Sr.

Lupe was a lifelong resident of Taft. He was a former foreman employed by Taft Grain Elevator. Lupe was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

Preceding in death is his mother: Josefina Salcido; brother: Ramiro Dominguez; and sister: Herminia Rodriguez.

Survivors include his wife: Elisa R. Dominguez of Taft, Texas; 3 sons: Lupe Dominguez, Jr. (Ruby) and Jessie Dominguez (Lisa), all of Portland, Texas; Daniel Dominguez (Michelle) of Calallen, Texas; 4 daughters: Gloria Gonzales (Raul), Irma Lopez (Michael), and Melisa Priebe (Roland), all of Taft, Texas; and Ida Leiba (Gerald) of Aransas Pass, Texas; 29 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren;  sisters: Leticia Gamez (Eulalio) of Taft, Texas and Angie Govea of Sinton, Texas.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 7, 2020, 2:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton.  A holy rosary will be recited the same evening, 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, January 8, 2020, 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, Taft. Burial will follow in Lamas Memorial Park Cemetery, Taft.
