Sinton – Guadalupe Reyna Noriega passed away on September 11, 2024. She was 88.

Guadalupe was born September 27, 1935 in Runge, Texas to Juanita (Bosquez) and Alberto Reyna. She was a lifelong resident of Sinton, Texas. Guadalupe loved to spend the evenings watering her yard and tending to her plants. She will always be remembered as loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.

Preceded in death by her husband: Santiago Noriega; sons: Oscar Noriega and Santiago Noriega, Jr.; great grandson: Roland Michael Cantu; parents: Alberto and Juanita Reyna.

Guadalupe is survived by her sons: Armando Noriega (Sandra Rodriguez) and Joe Henry Noriega (Yolanda) both from Sinton, Texas; daughter: Norma Sanchez from Beeville, Texas; 16 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; brothers: Daniel Reyna and Alberto “Chino” Reyna both from Houston, Texas; sisters; Juanita Porres (Roberto) from Naples, Florida and Polly Vela (Marcos) from Pasadena, Texas.

Visitation will begin Monday, September 16, 2024, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held the same evening, 7:00 PM, at the Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Sinton, Texas. Burial will follow in Eternal Rest Cemetery, Sinton, Texas.
