Taft– Heather Ann Vento passed away on January 1, 2021. She was 59.
Heather was born on August 24, 1961 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Duncan Rodrick and Mildred Lena (Wedge) McLeod Sr. She was a resident of Taft, Texas for over 20 years and a prior resident of Portland, Texas. Heather was a Service Manager for Northshore Country Club. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

Heather is preceded in death by her parents: Duncan Rodrick and Mildred Lena (Wedge) McLeod Sr.; brother: Duncan Rodrick McLeod, Jr.

Survivors include her loving husband: Kevin Joseph Vento, Sr. of Taft, Texas; daughter: Nicole Vento (Christian Muschenheim) of South Carolina; Sons: Jeff Lopez (Kayleigh) of Taft, Texas; Justin Lopez (Candace) of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Kevin Vento, Jr. (Rebecca) of Round Rock, Texas; brother: Albert Burtoft of Florida; grandchildren: Jacklyn Dillingham, Layla Jones, Aubrey Lopez, Railynn Lopez, Joseph Vento, Caden Muschenheim and Evelyn Vento; sisters: Colleen Strouder of Florida; Mary Edwards of Tennessee; Debra Burtoft of Tennessee and Joann Shelquist of Florida; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
