Taft – Mrs. Herminia "Minnie" Granado, 96, joined our Lord in his heavenly kingdom on Tuesday, August 22, 2023.
Herminia was born April 25, 1927. She was first and foremost a devout Catholic daughter, a talented beautician and seamstress for many years and enjoyed sewing special dresses and outfits for her family and grandchildren. Minnie was a supportive Mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Manuel O. Granado, a celebrated war hero; brothers and sisters, Blanca Cantu, Fidel, Deonel Gonzalez, Alicia, Maria Rodriguez, Agapito, Jose Isaac Gonzalez, and Rosa.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Manuel "Gene" Granado (Nancy Granado), Earl I. Granado (Belinda Granado) and Cynthia M. DuBose (Glenn DuBose); among others are her sisters: Alicia Rodriguez (+Alonso Rodriguez); grandchildren: Christina L. Granado, Leslie A. Granado, Kimberly L. Martinez, Brooke V. Norris, Bradley G. DuBose, Brianne DuBose; great-grandchildren: Heidi I. Garcia-Crossland and Kaelia Martinez.

Visitation will begin Tuesday, August 29, 2023, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, Taft. Burial will follow Lamas Memorial Park, Taft.
